My Big Two-Page Spread for Pages 26-27

Two page spread with characters moving from one page to the next

For this two-page spread I’m having the characters move from one side of the page to the other. I’m looking at the margin between the two pages as a frame. I hope the reader will perceive Betty and Tupa as moving through time as they’re walking. As I’m looking at this, I realize that I can add another dialog in the middle of the two pages. Betty will be on page 26 talking across the spine of the book to Tupa on the next page.
