Back to the Wall

Feeling cheerier today, I returned to my landscape painting of the border wall. I decided that it should be near sunset so that there’s a warm glow as the kids flew over it. As you may recall, the butterfly is carrying everyone over the wall by sheer determination. Isn’t it great that enough will power can defy the law of Physics. At least, that’s the way the world works in my books.

Today I reset the Clip Studio Paint tools to their default settings. When you reset, all of your custom brushes are deleted. Since mine were making me unhappy, deleting them is a good thing. For this picture I used the default Dry Gouache brush. I changed the texture to canvas and scaled it up to working with 300dpi files. In low res pictures, like the one posted here, there’s a moire pattern. It won’t show in print version.

UPDATE: it looks like the seamless texture tile is repeating vociferously. I’ll have to change that. Crap!
