Alternate Perspective Drawing of Kids Climbing a Sheer Rock Face

This my first sketch of the kids climbing the sheer rock face as they struggle to reach Buddy Butterfly’s family in the mountains of Mexico. I was trying to capture a sense of the height of the mountain they have to climb as well as the steepness of the vertical wall of stone. Buddy has decided to fly and leave his pals to fend for themselves.
