The Things I Think About When I'm Pruning Oregon Grape Bushes

Today was a special chore day. While I’m on my break from my day job, I plan to do some chores I’ve been putting off for too long — pruning the out-of-control Oregon Grape bushes in front of the house, hauling some Ikea wooden pallets to the recycling center, and dropping off my ancient iMac at the e-waste center. The iMac was top of the line in its day, and now it’s useless junk. I haven’t turned it on 4 years, but I’ve kept it around for sentimental reasons. It was a massive financial investment at the time. It’s hard for me to throw away the expensive junk I’ve bought over the years, including clothes, cameras, shoes, and now computers.

No drawing today. No inDesigning. No Artraging. No pictures to post. But I did add Simon Stålenhag to my blogroll. I spent several hours looking at his paintings. I like his painterly gouache look. I’m going to see if I can get that look with Artrage.
