Al Fresco Art Club Challenge, Jan 17, 2021 -- Paint with a Giant Brush

Today’s Al Fresco Art Club Challenge was to do a painting with a large brush. I chose the Feng Zhu brush in Victor Staris’ free Photoshop brush pack. I imported the brushes into Procreate where they worked nicely.

When I first saw this brush I couldn’t imagine what it would be used for — it seemed to be a blunt tool. I learned that this brush is really for roughing in blocks of color. You can see in the picture below what the brush strokes look like.
