Chore Day, Jan 11, 2020 -- Cooking and Drawing

Today I did my usual chores — shopping and cooking for the week — and got done early. After a quick nap I was able to do some sketching. In my next book Jimmy and Buddy will be traveling to Mexico and need to get there fast. They could always fly, of course, but that would take too long. So, I thought they might like to take the Magic Moustache Plane. It’s a plane with a propeller that looks like a mustache. It’s magic, too.

Today’s sketch: the Magic Mustache Airplane, and some four-fingered hands (from Jack Hamm’s Cartooning the Head and Figure). Jack Hamm worked on the Bugs Bunny cartoons back in the day.
